Since the birth of Dominik, Tiffany has been calling me almost every night with what I now call, (Question of the Day) which I don't mind at all. I just find it so funny that when I do answer with one of my suggestions she usually shoots it down. Before, many times I answered, "I don't know. , and she would reply, "How can you not know, you raised three kids?"
Last night it was about growth spurts. The doctor told her he was going through a growth spurt and to let him eat when he is hungry which seems to be all day and night. I told her that I would increase the amount of powdered formula to the same 4 oz of water in the bottle because it might not be strong enough. The doc. says he may have a high metabolism. She said she didn't want to try it because she was afraid it might upset his stomach. What do you think?
Well, I guess I will continue to give advice when she asks whether she takes it or not. At least she asks me. I would not ask my mom for any advice and would get very upset when she gave it.
I didn't know this place existed until my husband saw the commercial which is so funny. I decided to look it up and here I am creating my first blog. When I saw the commercial I was a grandma in waiting but now only two short weeks later I am a full fledged grandparent already babysitting and changing poopie diapers. How fast it all happens and how quickly it all comes back. Dominik, the baby is a dream though and I eagerly await each next visit. It is actually a lot of fun being in this posistion.
I have to say that I thought this Christmas was going to be the worst one ever for various reasons but it turned out to be a most special one. I feel as if the birth of this first grandchild has turned a new leaf for us all and I am thankful for it. Happy holidays and a happy, healthy , safe and peaceful New Year for everyone!
