On December 23, 2004, my first grandson was born. J.D. filled my heart with a joy of a different color and variety that I had not experienced before.
Fourteen months later, my first granddaughter was born. This time, Natalie made a unique joy dance in my heart. Little did I know that my actual "first" granddaughter was born in 2002. Her name is Kayla, and she joined our family in 2006, when she was 4 years old. Kayla's giggling joy scooted into my heart right next J.D. and Natalie's.
Could there be room for more? Yes, of course! In 2007, Carson's joy cuddled up in it's own place in my heart ... and then Emily's joy joined them all in April 2008.
