Bedtime music for grandchildren that sounds like real music to grandparents
The latest from Putumayo's popular Dreamland series is African Dreamland, soothing world music for when it’s close to your grandchild’s bedtime. The compilation has the same enchanting quality that the international-theme series is known for, and features such African music all-stars as Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Samite. Each artist on the record hails from a different part of the continent, from South Africa to Guinea, and all use their regional flair to lull grandchildren (and grandparents) into a peaceful slumber. Not only will the music “make you feel good,” as the company’s motto guarantees, but everyone will rest easy knowing a portion of the disc’s proceeds will go to NextAid, a nonprofit dedicated to African children in need.
