"Dada" was her first word, but she is a talker and loves to call my husband (her Gfather) "Gogo". Very cute.

My grandson's first word was 'ish'. His mom and dad had an aquarium at the time, and he loved to lay on the floor on his back and watch the fish!

My youngest (she is 3 now) hardly spoke when she was younger. She talks your ear off now.. but when she was younger, her older sister did all the talking. but FINALLY she said her first word.. I took them to the park and sat on a bench and she was climbing and she saw me and said, "ce you". Made me so proud!!!

MY GRANDCHILD'S FIRST WORDS AT UNDER SIX MONTHS AGE WERE "NOW, NOW, NOW" TO INDICATE HE WAS HUNGRY. HIS MOTHER HAD COMFORTED HIM WITH THESE WORDS AS SHE PICKED HIM UP TO BE SUCKLED AND, AT FIRST, DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHEN HIS CRY HAD CHANGED TO ACTUAL WORDS OF REQUEST!!!
