What is the greatest thing about being a grandparent?
Theres never a dull moment. No matter where or when,
there is always some interesting story to be told or heard.
I think the best part is watching my own children growing and stating familys of thier own.
If you want to get to know me, I would start by telling you...
Hi I am Brenda a 44 year old grandmother of 8 grandchildren. I have 5 grandsons and 3 grand-daughters. The oldest one will be 8 in April, the youngest was born november 6th of this year(07). In 2005 there was an unplaned and unwanted pragnancy. There was a plan to terminate. I was , well lets just say," less then pleased with this plan". In other words.........I was going to do what ever it took to see that this didn't take place. We offered to raise this child as our own, to our delight they agreed to our offer. Our beautiful little Abigail was born on November 11, 2005. My siblings all had thier doubts and were more then willing to voice them. It's been 2 years now and we get nothing but praises from everyone on what a wonerful job we are doing. I will be honest by saying that it's alot harder at this age then when i had my first 3, but there is nothing about my life i would change. This child is truely a blessing.
