What is the greatest thing about being a grandparent?
The joy they give me watching them grow through the years. The unconditional love they have for me. Everytime I'm able to spend time with them I have a glorious day. My grandchildren are ages 4 to 26 with one great grandchild, and two more on the way....(what a lovely family I have)
Grandchildren, are the treasure of the universe. If you don't have grandchildren you can volunteer at a local church. Choose a church that inner acts with kids and has a nursery during service. Sometimes your able to help at nursery, a much needed place so parents can recharge during the service. You'll have the satisfaction your giving time to help parents, allowing them to pray and thank God for their wonderful family.
while you assist the nursery and feel the happiness a child can bring to your heart. The feeling is in measurable..
If you want to get to know me, I would start by telling you...
Our family, is my most important asset. Every thing we do in life, goes back to the family. I have a daughter 41 who has 7 children and one grandchild with two more on the way.
I'm married and my husband has three daughters. We both agree the family is the most important part of our lives.
We travel, and enjoy getting to see the United States and all it's beautiful places. We have gone to other countries however, choose to drive verses flying at this stage of our lives. We are both in our 60's.
I started the blog grammology , www.grammolog.com less then a year ago, with partners, hoping to express the importance of grandparents in today's family lives. We've had an impact and hope to continue. Grandparents are wonderful assets to the family. They can be more then babysitters, officering you solutions and support to current family issues. Hopefully more families will think about grandparents and watch the fun kids can have with grandma and grandpa...
