What is the greatest thing about being a grandparent?

Experiencing all the things you forgot when your own children started discovering life. Watching the excitement of achievement and the accomplishments they have done in school, band, dance, and friendship. The joy little hugs and kisses give. The excitement when they see you and how they can hardly talk plain to tell you all of their new stories. The greatest thrill is all the LOVE and the feeling of being proud that you have contributed to this greatest joy.

I am a very family oriented person. I love having the children and grandchildren around alot. I love the outdoors, fishing, crafts with the kids and lots of multi pets from turtles to guinea pigs, cats and dogs. I have 4 children, 2 with disabilities, 10 grandchildren ranging from 3months-13yrs. 3boys,7girls. I am old enough to know better and young enough to keep going. I am currently taking a break from work to help care for 3 of the grandchildren and reliving the days of potty training. I take care of my husband who is very ill right now and I guess I don't make enough time for myself but I wouldn't trade it for the world to miss out on the joys that I have had.
