What is the greatest thing about being a grandparent?
I'm not a grandparent myself, but I've watched my own parents grow into the role over the last 7 years. It's been fascinating to see them interact with my nephew and it has given me insight into what they were like as they were raising me. If you ask them, they'll say the best part of being a grandparent is watching your own children grow up and have kids of their own.
If you want to get to know me, I would start by telling you...
I'm the Directory of Community here at Grandparents.com. I'm not a grandparent (or even parent) yet, but it's been a blast learning more about what makes them so special. It seems more and more of my friends are having kids and I've enjoyed talking to their parents about what it means to them to become a grandparent. Call it market research : ) No matter what they say, the first picture of them with their grandchild usually says a whole lot more than anything else.
Speaking of pictures, I like to consider myself a photographer when I'm not working at Grandparents.com. I'm also a big poker fan.
