What is the greatest thing about being a grandparent?

Collecting Grandkids. I have five grandsons, each unique and one on the way which we hope is a girl. It's a miracle baby and mama is high risk pregnancy so please keep her in prayer. Baby is due in August and this is try #4. I like surprising them with things they do not expect.

I come from a large family and I'm the 3rd oldest of 13 kids, 9 boys and 4 girls. My mother is also grandmother to 42 kids to date and when my daughter's baby is born that will make 24 great-grandkids on just my side's family tree. My husbans's family is a large one too. I enjoy living in the north because I love the winter. I am author/poet/musician and have several published pieces in all three catagories. I love to do crafts and teach kids how to create. I'm a graduate of East Coast Central Bible College and love to do the Lord's work as well. I own 3 Exotic Lookalike Cats which I dearly love... two Chausie boys and one Savannah girl. My kids and grandkids live in the south so I correspond with my grandkids via the internet and phone. We just came back from a visit with them all this Autumn. I love trail walking, biking, and reading 'series' novels. I am a Red Cross Volunteer and also volunteer in my local church and neighborhood where people need help, and I still find time to keep a pretty clean home and cook and bake for my husband of 35 1/2 years.
